Accessibility Statement
This website is built to conform with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Given that this is an eye care practice, accessibility is treated as a functional requirement rather than a compliance exercise.

Conformance target
This site targets conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2, Level AA. This claim was last reviewed on 17 August 2026.
What has been done
Accessibility measures built into this site include the following.
- Semantic HTML with correct landmark structure on every page
- A single H1 per page and no skipped heading levels, enforced in the build
- Text and background colour pairs meeting at least 4.5 to 1 contrast, verified in the build rather than by eye
- Full keyboard operability, including the navigation menu and the mobile drawer
- Visible focus indicators that are never obscured
- Touch targets of at least 44 by 44 pixels
- Alternative text on every image, enforced in the build
- Form labels correctly associated, with errors identified in text and announced to assistive technology
- Full content and navigation available with JavaScript disabled
- Respect for reduced motion preferences
- A print stylesheet for contact, location, pricing and legal pages
Why the build enforces this
Contrast, heading structure, alt text and touch target rules are checked automatically when this site is built. A page that violates them fails the build rather than shipping and being found later. That is a deliberate choice: accessibility maintained by discipline degrades, and accessibility maintained by a gate does not.
Known limitations
Where a map is embedded, it loads only after you choose to load it, and full address and directions information is available in text alongside it so nothing depends on the map.
Some third party content, where present, may not fully meet the same standard. This is monitored.

In the office
The practice accommodates patients with mobility needs and works with patients who have low vision. If there is something that would make your visit easier, mention it when you book.
