Urgent eye problems
Sudden vision loss, significant eye pain, a chemical splash, an eye injury, a red painful eye in a contact lens wearer, or new floaters with flashing lights all need same day attention. Call rather than emailing. For a chemical splash, irrigate with clean water for at least fifteen minutes first, before travelling or phoning. Outside opening hours, go to an emergency department.
