About Florence
Florence is one of the oldest towns in Arizona and has an unusually intact historic downtown, with buildings dating to the territorial period. It sits well outside the metropolitan area along the Gila River corridor. Founded in 1866, it is one of the oldest towns in Arizona and has over a hundred buildings on the National Register of Historic Places. The Pinal County Courthouse, whose clock face was painted on because the clock was never delivered, is the best known of them.
Why Florence patients come here for this
Specialty contact lens fitting is not available locally, so patients with keratoconus travel to the valley. The fitting sequence is worth the drive when the alternative is uncorrectable vision.
